Another Life Saved

Yesterday, we received a note ... a note that touched our hearts ... a note we want to share with you ... a note we'd like to ask you to share with others. Step up. Step in. Save a life today.

"My name is Karen and my brother's name is Joe and we are twins. Our other brother's name is Mike and he is gay. Last year when Mike was 17 and me and Joe were 15, Mike tried to kill himself because he was afraid to tell our parents he's gay. Me and Joe found him after school in his room with his wrists cut. There was a lot of blood and we couldn't wake him up so we called 911. The doctors saved him but he never told our parents about being gay and me and Joe were so afraid he would try to kill himself again.

One of Joes' friends saw your video and showed it to Joe and me and we showed it to Mike. Two days ago he told our parents he is gay and that's why he tried to kill himself. Our mom cried a lot and our dad kept asking how this had happened. But when it was over they told Mike how much they love him and want him to be happy and alive.

Me and Joe and Mike just want to say thank you for making the video and helping to save other lives. Christmas last year sucked at our house but this year is going to be the best ever because Mike is alive and can be himself for the first time.

Love
Karen and Joe and Mike"

Share our video today ... you never know ... you just never know, friends.

Always Hope

“No. Don't give up hope just yet. It's the last thing to go. When you have lost hope, you have lost everything. And when you think all is lost, when all is dire and bleak, there is always hope.”
